These BoomJet nozzles function in order to maintain ease of spraying to areas that boom sprayers have difficulty covering. While both the 5430 and 5880 models have 3/4” NPT female inlet threads, they do have some differences. The 5430 is complete with an alterable swivel design, and the 5880 model functions to provide good distribution, despite not being as fully uniform as a boom sprayer (more complete uniformity achieved with double overlapping swaths on consecutive sprayer passes).
