Hypro 3D Nozzle

The Hypro 3D nozzle is an inclined all-purpose nozzle for optimum spray coverage. The unique inclined spray shape is designed to provide complete 3-dimensional delivery on vertical plants like grassy weeds and broad-leafed canopies. Different design components make the Hypro 3D nozzle yield favorable application results. Its angled bore is designed to aid in drift reduction and improves coverage accuracy. The Hypro 3D nozzle is also PWM-compatible and should be installed facing the same direction of the PWM systems at less than 30 Hz. 


The Hypro 3D nozzle features a special exit orifice that ensures droplet uniformity by creating the optimum droplet size for delivery. Sprayer nozzles are designed to produce very fine droplets, by using the high internal energy from high-pressure operation to break a slurry apart into a fine spray. Most nozzles produce a broad spectrum of droplet sizes. However, in spray-drying applications, larger-than-average droplets may not have adequate liquid removed and impede drying. Smaller droplets, on the other hand, have reduced moisture content, but is at risk of damage by excessive heat. By regulating variable droplet sizes, the orifice on the Hypro 3D nozzle reduces drift and uniformly distributes spray for complete coverage of targets. 


The Hypro 3D nozzle comes in nine sizes, from 015 to 08 (as well as sizes 025 and 035). The nozzle is available in a single-tip, or a FastCap version, which utilizes SnapLock cap technology for more efficient installation, and includes the tip, cap, gasket, and strainer.


The Hypro 3D nozzle is designed to be used as an alternating inclined spray, which in-trial showed to increase spray deposition by 8% compared to a flat fan. The trial also indicated a 10% increase in pre-emergent weed control and a 60-75% improvement in drift control. Inclined spray is installed to alternate forward and backward on a boom.
