TeeJet Nozzle Body

TeeJet makes many unique nozzle bodies that can mount multiple nozzle heads in precise, pliable positions. Body design is an important component of spray distribution as it enables farmers to make quick changes from dilute to concentrated applications or to change spray distribution from block-to-block in a large field. Nozzle bodies have single, double, or triple nozzle attachment points, and sometimes L- or Y- shaped bodies, as well as single-hose shanks. Nozzle bodies can also come in a stackable design, such as TeeJet’s QJS Series Stackable Nozzle Bodies. A multiple-outlet, stackable nozzle body is ideal for mounted, trailed, and self-propelled sprayers. The TeeJet stackable nozzle body can be equipped with any TeeJet ChemSaver tip shutoffs, including pneumatic, electric, manual, or spring-loaded check valve, and has an operating pressure of up to 300 PSI depending on the ChemSaver tip used.

TeeJet nozzle bodies are designed for user compatibility, and all are outfitted with unique functional featured. Their triple body nozzle is a nylon body that offers three spray positions in order to simplify changing spray tips in the field. Features of their three-nozzle body include a ChemSaver diaphragm check valve for drip-free shutoff, as well as positive shutoff between each spray position. The standard EPDM diaphragm is also available with Viton, and the body is compatible with all Quick TeeJet caps.

TeeJet is well-known for their multiple outlet nozzle bodies that are ideal for a variety of overhead-boom applications. Their models QJ370 and QJ380 are both popular and dependable multiple outlet nozzle bodies that allow for the attachment of 3-5 nozzle spray tips. They also produce several dry and wet boom-compatible multiple nozzle body assembly systems. Several multiple outlet nozzles also feature fertilizer-nozzle outlets with shutoff caps. Some also feature upper clamps that allow the nozzle bodies to attach to flat surfaces. Clamps are intentionally designed with a molded hex socket, as well as a functional hinge which reduces assembly time and fits inside common boom channels.
