We've all had to deal with plugged nozzles and pumps, but not anymore.
Super-Flo Suction water filter, is an intricate foam cell network that filters
water at the source, allowing less foreign material to enter the system.
With cleaner water from the start you do a better job spraying because all
of your nozzles are operating at capacity. You spend less down time servicing
parts and components. That means reduced chemical contact too. The replaceable
foam cell filter is reinforced to provide maximum filtration, without sacrificing
pumping time. The flange allows you to suspend the unit with anchor and float
for maximum volume.
Agricultural sprayers are equipped with filters and nozzle screens, but are not
consistent and effective enough for all applications. Filter and nozzle screens
tend to plug with debris (ie. algae, insects, etc.) found in water used for chemical
application obtained obtained from dugouts, ponds, and streams.
Should it become necessary for the operator to service plugged filters or nozzles,
he risks possible contanimation from dangerous chemicals.
Super-Flo suction water filter is placed at the end of the suction hose suspended in the water source. Water debris is filtered out before it
enters the pumping system so pumps and tanks stay cleaner, longer.
The filter is place about 36 inches below the surface of the water to limit the amount of floating debris entering the filter. It is anchored by suspending
a weight from the bottom of the filter. A flange with a hole has been provided for this purpose. A flotation device will prevent the filter from sinking
during periods of use.
To replace filter, remove filter mesh by undoing fastner straps. Remove used filter foam from filter body and replace with new filter foam. Filter foam
replacements are sold seperately. The exact hours of operation between filter replacements will vary depending on water contanimation.
